Advisory Committee of the Welfare Quality® project 2007
The Welfare Quality® Advisory Committee consists of various key stakeholders, including representatives from consumer and welfare organisations, retailers and producers, all of whom have a clear interest in the results of the project.
The Advisory Committee has three main roles: Firstly, to advise the Steering Committee on the general aims and approaches of the project and on the inclusion of specific issues and strategies. Secondly, to provide advice and assistance to Sub Project coordinators. Finally, to draw on their collective expertise to ensure that research reports and proposals prepared by WQ partners or external scientists are clear, innovative, relevant and timely. These objectives are achieved via regular contact with the Steering Committee, performance appraisals, and focused two-way workshops and meetings.
