2011/11/11First European Protocols Assessing Farm Animal WelfareAssessment systems to evaluate the quality of animal welfare on farms or at slaughter, have been developed by researchers of Welfare Quality®. These systems for 3 livestock species (and 7 ´animal types´) are founded upon animal-based measures. 2011/03/09Welfare Quality Network started!Nineteen of the 29 partners of the Welfare Quality Network (WQN) gathered during the first General Assembly on the first of December 2010. During this start-up meeting the partners discussed extensively the various activities that we aim to develop in the Welfare Quality Network.
