2nd Welfare Quality^® Stakeholder Conference 3-4 May 2007
Assuring animal welfare:  from societal concerns to implementation

The Welfare Quality® project, hosted its second Stakeholder conference in Berlin, Germany. The conference was especially relevant for: Producer associations, Animal breeding organisations, Retailer organisations, Consumer organisations, European and national politicians, Veterinarians, Interest groups, Policymakers. This conference examined and discussed the results generated during the second and third year of the research project Welfare Quality®. The primary goals of this conference were to facilitate a dialogue about our results with all relevant stakeholders and to identify mutually beneficial activities.

1st Welfare Quality® Stakeholder Conference 17-17 November 2005, Brussels, Belgium
Science and society improving animal welfare                                                  
The Welfare Quality® project, in close co-operation with the European Economic and Social Committee, hosted
its first conference in Brussels on the 17th and 18th of November 2005. The conference was especially relevant
for European and national politicians, retailer, producer and consumer organisations, NGOs and policymakers.
